Veteran cricketer Shahid Afridi Wednesday shared a genuine note for his little girl, Ansha, communicating his sentiments over her marriage with Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi.
The wedding service occurred in Karachi daily before.
Following their commitment quite a while back, the couple had secured the bunch in a cozy nikah function held in February this year.
In a profound and moving post on X, previously Twitter, the previous cricketer composed Urdu couplets for his little girl.
"Aya tha ghar principal noor abhi kal ki baat hai
Rukhsat bhi ho raha hai wo ankhon kay saamney
Dooba hua bhi hai terey baba ka dil magar
Umeed subh-e-nau isey ayi hai thamney," Afridi composed.
Alongside the couplet, the previous Pakistan chief imparted two photographs of himself to the recently married couple. In the two pictures, taken from the back, Afridi is seen affectionately clutching his girl and child in-regulation feeling charming.
In one of the photos, the previous all-rounder is seen inclining towards Ansha, communicating his feelings of a dad seeing his girl off.
In the photograph, Afridi's girl is seen wearing a complicatedly planned red dress, adorned with gold zardozi and sequin work.
Photographs from the wedding, which occurred at a confidential wedding scene in Karachi, have turned into a web sensation via online entertainment with Shaheen seen blending with visitors and individual cricketer and Pakistan chief Babar Azam in the midst of the glad event.
The 23-year-old quick bowler showed up at the scene to accept his lady with his family, while the rukhsati (seeing off) function was decked with a different list if people to attend which included previous chief Misbah-ul-Haq, Saeed Anwar, Tanveer Ahmed, and Sohail Khan.
