The South African Cricket Board removed the captain for supporting Israel

The South African Cricket Board has removed the captain of its team participating in the Under-19 World Cup, David Tager, from the captaincy due to Israel's support.

David Tagger was named Rising Star at the Jewish Achiever Awards in October, after the cricketer dedicated his award to Jewish soldiers in Israel, and has now tweeted in support of the Israeli soldiers, after the African Board Action taken against.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) officially announced Tagore's dismissal on Friday, citing concerns about possible protests and threats to the tournament.

 The decision came amid protests over Israel's actions in Gaza, he will remain in the team as a player while the Under-19 captain will be decided at a later date.

According to foreign media reports, there is also a possibility of protests during the Under-19 World Cup starting on January 19 in South Africa.

Apart from this, South Africa has also filed a case in the International Court of Justice on Israeli aggression in Palestine, on which the country's Prime Minister has described the preliminary hearing as proud.

It should be noted that the U-19 Cricket World Cup will be played in South Africa from January 19. The Pakistan U-19 team left for South Africa last night.
