To express solidarity with the victims of Parachinar, sit-ins are ongoing at 5 locations in Karachi under the MWM, due to which citizens are facing difficulties.

Police are trying to negotiate with protesters at Kamran Chowrangi, while the protesters are refusing to end the sit-in and open the road. The road from Kamran Chowrangi to Masamiyat is closed due to the sit-in.

In Abbas Town too, the police are trying to negotiate with the protesters. The road to and from Abbas Town is completely closed to traffic. The police used force to remove the sit-in protesters, after which there is tension in the area.

The road from Karachi University to Nipa is closed due to a sit-in near Safari Park. Traffic is being diverted on the road from Nipa to Karachi University.

The road from MA Jinnah Road to Gurumandir has been opened from the exhibition signal, however, the road from Saddar to the exhibition is closed. A heavy police force has been deployed at the exhibition signal.

On the other hand, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that he is not against peaceful sit-ins, the Parachinar issue has to be resolved in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa itself, and the Sindh government also played a role in the Parachinar issue.
