Foo Fighters are set to share the stage with rock legends AC/DC once again, with the two bands scheduled to appear at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Friday, October 2, 2026.
The concert is a rescheduled date for AC/DC’s Power Up Tour. The original MetLife Stadium show was planned for September 25 but was postponed because of dangerous weather conditions. According to AC/DC’s official announcement, Foo Fighters will now join the lineup for the October 2 performance.
This will be the second time Foo Fighters have appeared with AC/DC during the 2026 North American tour. The bands previously shared the bill in St. Louis on September 8, when Foo Fighters stepped in after The Pretty Reckless were unable to perform. Foo Fighters delivered a high-energy opening set featuring several of their well-known songs.
The St. Louis appearance was notable for Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, who has spoken publicly about his long-standing admiration for AC/DC. The unexpected pairing brought together two major generations of rock music for the stadium audience.
The upcoming MetLife Stadium concert is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m., according to the stadium's event information.
For rock fans, the October 2 show provides another opportunity to see Foo Fighters and AC/DC on the same concert bill. The event is also set to serve as AC/DC's rescheduled New Jersey date on the Power Up Tour.
