ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is observing Defence and Martyrs’ Day with tributes to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country, as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari recalled the spirit of the 1965 war and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to national security, sovereignty and peace.
