Islamabad ATC Orders Imran Khan’s Production in Judicial Complex Attack Case on November 5

Islamabad, October 5, 2026: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has directed authorities to produce Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan before the court at the next hearing of the Judicial Complex attack case.

According to the court’s direction, Imran Khan may be produced either physically in court or through a video link. The next hearing has been scheduled for November 5, 2026.

The case is related to the clashes and unrest that occurred around the Federal Judicial Complex in Islamabad on March 18, 2023, when Imran Khan appeared at the complex in connection with proceedings in the Toshakhana case. Police had alleged that PTI supporters damaged property, disrupted security arrangements and set fire to a police post during the incident. PTI, however, had accused police of using force and shelling around Imran Khan’s vehicle.

Court Takes Action Against Other PTI Leaders

During Monday’s proceedings, ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra also took action against several other PTI leaders who failed to appear before the court.

Former federal ministers Farrukh Habib, Hammad Azhar and Murad Saeed, along with former senator Shibli Faraz, were declared proclaimed offenders. The court also directed authorities to provide details of their assets.

The court further issued non-bailable arrest warrants for former Punjab Assembly deputy speaker Wasiq Qayyum and PTI leader Hassan Khan Niazi.

Case Proceedings Continue

The Judicial Complex case was registered at Ramna Police Station in Islamabad and involves allegations arising from the March 2023 incident. The court’s latest order means that Imran Khan’s appearance, either in person or through video link, is expected to be an important part of the next hearing.

With proceedings now adjourned until November 5, attention will remain focused on whether authorities produce the PTI founder before the ATC and how the court proceeds with the remaining accused.

The case remains part of the broader series of legal proceedings involving Imran Khan and several PTI leaders.
