The meeting was attended by all concerned including Senator Sami Yazdi, Senator Keshu Bai, Senator Maulvi Faiz Mohammad and senior officers of the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division. During the meeting, Senator Sania Nishtar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, told the committee that decisions are made on merit basis and mobile units of Ehsas program will be run in Balochistan.

Those whose salary is less than Rs 31,500 are eligible for the Ehsas Ration Discount Program.

Senator Krishna Kumari, a member of the committee, raised the issue of non-matching of fingerprints of women and said that there was a big problem of fingerprints. Now, if we go in a rush, there is no danger of quads. Fingerprints of most women working in the field of agriculture do not work.
