KUWAIT CITY (UPDATED 24 DECEMBER 2021) - An Indian national has been arrested in Kuwait for selling government subsidized goods. Complained to the concerned authorities. According to local media, a Kuwaiti citizen complained to the Interior Ministry that a foreigner was opening a booth in Hawli area and selling food items there. The Kuwaiti Interior Ministry team took immediate action on this complaint and the booth Arriving at the site, they seized milk, rice, sugar, oil and other food items.
It is learned that the arrested person is an Indian citizen who was found involved in violation of labor law, on the basis of which he was taken into custody and after completing the legal process, it was decided to deport him.
It should be noted that the government of Kuwait provides rations to its citizens every month during the subsidy period, selling these rations is a legal offense while the majority of foreigners residing in Kuwait, including Bangladeshi and Indian nationals, This ration is sold, due to which action is taken against such persons.
In addition, Kuwaiti customs officials arrested an Indian national arriving at the airport when he showed signs of panic on his face, which led customs officials to suspect the Indian passenger and search his luggage. During the search of the luggage, 120 narcotic pills hidden in different places were recovered. On the other hand, a foreigner from an Asian country and his girlfriend were caught doing obscene acts inside their car in Salmia area of Kuwait, where the Asian resident and his girlfriend sat in the front seat and pushed the seat back. Leaning to the side and kissing each other, they were spotted by a Kuwaiti citizen passing by and made a video clip from his mobile phone and handed it over to the security forces, who completed all the legal formalities. He took legal action to deport the Asian man and his girlfriend.
