According to details, in a statement, he said that all the long-term LNG contracts signed by the PML-N government in 2017 are constantly defaulting, due to the current price and the time value of the contract. Is.

The Finance Ministry spokesperson further said that this argument proves that the argument of the media persons who used to say that it would be cheaper to buy it earlier, has become useless. The next 60 days will also pass.

On the other hand, Federal Minister for Energy Hamad Azhar said that the supply of gas is the same as the outflow and this year gas is not being supplied to the domestic consumers, the demand for gas is increasing, the demand for domestic gas consumers is increasing in winter. The country's natural gas reserves continue to dwindle, the shortage of gas is due to system shortages and the demand for gas from domestic consumers has increased in the cold. Therefore, in winter, other sectors are stopped and given to domestic consumers. Teams are working hard and hopefully gas supply will improve.

During the press conference, Hamad Azhar said that there is a hearing on gas in Sindh High Court on December 30 and gas reserves are continuously decreasing, therefore a very cheap gas supply cannot be provided. To do this, 10 to 11 cargoes will come to the country and are trying to improve the gas supply.
