August 27, 2022) Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the flood-affected areas of Sindh and Balochistan on Saturday, personally inspected the ongoing construction works in the affected areas and met with the soldiers. Spokesman of ISPR According to this, flood relief camps have been established across the country, relief materials will be collected in the army flood relief camps and distributed to the people in the affected areas, 10 camps have been established in Lahore Division, 11 in Multan, 17 in Gujranwala and 7 in Bahawalpur. Camps were established in Faisalabad and Sargodha division, 6 camps were established in Jhelum, relief camps were established in Abbottabad and Mansehra in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 41 army relief camps were established in Balochistan, 14 camps were established in FC Balochistan North and 3 relief camps were established in FC Balochistan South.

According to ISPR, 5487 packets of ration were distributed among the victims in more than 1200 tents, more than 25 thousand patients were treated, 117 relief camps have been established across the country, DG Khan and Rajanpur in southern Punjab are the most. Most affected are Khuzdar, Sabi, Nasirabad, Jafarabad, Jhal-Magsi, Lasbela, Sahabatpur and Musikhel in Balochistan, Tando Allahyar, Khairpur, Badin, Dadu, Sukkur, Qamber Shahdadkot, Ghotki, Larkana in Sindh. While DI Khan, Tank, Swat, Nowshera, and Charsadda were affected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, floods have wreaked havoc in Hunza and Ghazhar regions of Gilgit-Baltistan.
