Islamabad (Urdu Point, Latest News, August 27, 2022) The Islamabad High Court has constituted a new bench in the Imran Khan contempt of court case. The bench will be headed by Chief Justice Athar Minullah. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb Justice Babar Sattar, Justice Tariq Jahangiri will be a part of the bench. On the order of the Islamabad High Court, a show cause notice was sent to former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan.
On behalf of the High Court, the Registrar's Office has sent a show-cause notice to Imran Khan for contempt of court. The text of the show-cause notice states that Imran Khan made an insulting and threatening speech about a female judge when the case was brought before the Islamabad High Court. The show cause notice said that Imran Khan made an insulting and threatening speech to take arbitrary decision and through this speech tried to obstruct the path of justice.
The show cause notice said that Imran Khan committed criminal and judicial contempt by threatening the female judge.
