SEOUL: North Korea's unfamiliar service denied a media report it provided weapons to Russia, referring to it as "unfounded", and criticized the US for giving deadly weapons to Ukraine, the North's true KCNA news office covered Friday.
Japan's Tokyo Shimbun detailed before that North Korea had sent weapons, including gunnery shells, to Russia by means of train through their boundary last month and that extra shipments were normal before very long.
"The Japanese media's misleading report that the DPRK offered weapons to Russia is the most ludicrous distraction, which does not merit any remark or translation," a service representative said in a proclamation conveyed by the KCNA.
