Brian Cox pokes fun at Rupert Murdoch for getting engaged at 92

Progression's Brian Cox is openly deriding Rupert Murdoch for getting connected again at 92 years old.


The tycoon news head honcho Rupert got drawn in to new sweetheart Ann Lesley Smith, 66, only a half year after the pair initially met. His commitment comes a year after his separation.


Cox made ridiculed Rupert for taking his relationship to the following stage at his age.


Talking on The Jonathan Ross Show Cox wished the news tycoon "best of luck!" attacking his age.


Rupert imparted the news in a meeting to one of his own distributions - the New York Post.


'I was extremely anxious,' he shared, while uncovering that the pair intend to marry this year, in pre-fall. 'I feared falling head over heels — yet I knew this sounds my last. It should be. I'm cheerful.'

Somewhere else on the show Cox examined the last time of his hit Program Progression.


'You have limited TV and you have endless TV that continues forever beyond its sell by date,' he said. 'He's [writer Jesse Armstrong] known the bend of this thing from way back.'

He added: 'I believe it will be challenging for individuals. They become so dependent on the show. They don't have any idea why they like it however much they do, there's a great deal of contemptuous individuals… that is the thing crowds like, that horrendousness of individuals.'


On series four Brian proceeded: 'It's a rollercoaster. There's a ton of stuff in it… I actually can't figure out it.'


He added: 'There's been a surprising closeness with us all. I don't actually mind the show finishing, however it's individuals, the society. The group, the awesome camera administrators… It's everything. The entire part. It's the best rush on the planet, miserable when it's finished.'
