In a public statement, the White House said it had informed the Senate that Carlson's selection had been removed.
Authorities didn't give motivation to the move.

Carlson, the organization's main guidance, was named acting head of NHTSA in September after taking over from Steven Precipice. She was officially assigned for the top situation in February.
