Pakistan captain Babar Azam and wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan are relishing their experience at Harvard University and sharing their experiences with their fans after arriving at the prestigious school.

Harvard Business School's Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports (BEMS) executive education program has welcomed a cricket couple who enrolled in the prestigious program last month.

Both Babar and Rizwan focus on their studies and are often involved in networking and making connections within their new alma mater, developing friendships along the way.

This time, Babar hinted at the possibility of "joining" another sport while posing with his fellow Harvard students and a teacher at the prestigious school.

"With champions like @francis_ngannou, @USMAN84kg and @jaboowins guaranteeing to play cricket, maybe it's time @iMRizwanPak and I join another sport. Thoughts?"

The two cricketers were seen clicking a picture with Lineal MMA heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, Nigerian-American mixed martial artist Kamaru Usman and American football quarterback Jameis Winston, suggesting that the three sportsmen "guaranteed to play cricket" and let him and Rizwan to join another sport. .

A day earlier, Rizwan's photo with his teacher went viral on the internet. In the picture, the goal scorer was presenting her with a copy of the Holy Koran.

His generous gesture won the hearts of netizens who praised Rizwan for "spreading Islam".

I'm going to Harvard

Babar and Rizwan became the first two cricketers to join the prestigious school. He will participate in the program from May 31 to June 3. The duo will also engage with various communities in the US after the program until June 13.

"It is a huge honor to represent Pakistan on such a prestigious global stage. We are going to the BEMS program at Harvard to learn from the best of the best in the world – both in terms of teaching and program colleagues – and at the same time It is time to share our journey and learnings with everyone. I'm sure it will be an exciting journey and I look forward to sharing our learnings and experiences with other superstars of the cricketing world," Rizwan said a few days ago.

Meanwhile, Babar was also repeating similar thoughts.

"I am a lifelong learner and I spoke in detail about this program with prof. Elbers and [Talha] Rehmani. My inspiration for joining this world-class program at Harvard is to connect, explore, listen, learn, grow and give back to the community around the world. I'm sure there's a lot to learn from the amazing athletes and top business executives from the entertainment, media and sports industries who come from all over the world."

Other athletes have previously completed the course including footballers Kaka, Edwin van der Sar, Gerard Pique, Oliver Kahn, NFL's Brandon Marshall, NBA's Chris Bosh and Major League Baseball's Dwyane Wade and Alex Rodriguez.
