The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday terminated previous Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) president Pervez Khattak from the party over his inability to answer a "show cause notice" gave to him.

In the letter, Omar had told the previous protection serve that he was presented with a "show cause notice" on June 21, and he had neglected to give a "good answer inside the given specified time in regards to reaching party individuals and prompting them to leave the party".
