Typhoon Idalia made landfall in Florida as an "very perilous" Classification 3 tropical storm on Wednesday, after huge number of occupants escaped their homes taking asylum in covers because of fears of a possibly lethal tempest flood.
Drawing strength from the Inlet of Mexico's warm waters, Idalia released disastrous breezes and heavy deluges that were figure to cause seaside flooding up to 16 feet (4.88 m) profound along the state's Bay Coast.
