Pakistan to guarantee idiot proof security during Asia Cup 2023.
Armed force, Officers to be conveyed from August 27 to September 6.
Exceptional powers will be on reserve for security, sources say.
ISLAMABAD: The bureaucratic bureau has endorsed the arrangement of the Pakistan Armed force and Punjab Officers to guarantee idiot proof security during the Asia Cup 2023, government sources said Saturday.
As per the sources, the Punjab overseer government had mentioned the organization of the military and Officers, and an outline in such manner was sent by the Service of Inside which the bureau endorsed by means of flow.
The much-anticipated Asia Cup 2023 will be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka from August 30 to September 17 and will start off with a match among Pakistan and Nepal in Multan.
The sources added that the military and Punjab Officers would be sent from August 27 to September 6.
"The Punjab Officers will be conveyed in the second level Fast Response Powers (QRFs), while the Pakistan Armed force arrangement will be in third level QRF mode," they added.
They likewise shared that extraordinary powers will be on reserve for the security.
It should be recalled that four matches of the Asia Cup are booked to be played in the country between August 30 and September 6. While the first of these will occur in Multan, the leftover three are booked for the Gaddafi Arena in Lahore.
