Pakistan cricket crew's central selector Friday guarded quick bowler Hasan Ali's consideration in the ICC Men's Reality Cup 2023 crew, who has not addressed the Green Shirts in that frame of mind north of a year.
Boss Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq, in a question and answer session where he reported the 15-man crew, said: "He (Hasan Ali) performed well in the Lankan Chief Association; he is an encounter bowler."
"Indeed, he has not played global occasions as of late, however he has addressed Pakistan in uber worldwide occasions and performed well in them," the central selector said.
The pacer, who started addressing the Green Shirts in 2016, was most recently seen wearing the public pullover in the 50-over design in June 2022 in Multan.
Ali has supplanted Naseem Shah, who is set for an extended cutback after he supported a right shoulder injury that was more regrettable than was at first thought.
The main selector added that since Naseem Shah was precluded, Pakistan required somebody who could bowl with the new ball.
"He (Ali) bowls well with both old and new ball, and is a group man. His presence loans energy to the group."
"Naseem was harmed, he was our primary bowler and it was awful," Inzamam said. "Hasnain has a lower leg injury and is out harmed as is Ihsanullah."
The ICC World Cup 2023 will happen in India with 10 groups battling for the slippery title across 10 settings from October 5 to November 19, with the Narendra Modi Arena in Ahmedabad facilitating the competition opener and the last.
The Cricket World Cup will be played in the cooperative configuration with all groups playing against one another for a sum of 45 association matches.
The main four groups will fit the bill for the elimination rounds, which will be held in Mumbai on November 15 and in Kolkata on November 16. The semi-finals and the last will have hold days.
