Drop-in pitches installed at Perth Stadium ahead of Pak-Aus Test

The World Cup and ICC World Test Champion Australians will take on Pakistan from December 14 to 18 at the Perth Arena in Western Australia.


The wicket square comprises of five drop-in pitches, with every one gauging around 25 tons and the whole establishment process requires over two days.


The drop-in wicket has been organized at the arena since February, kept an eye on every day by WA Cricket caretakers in the nursery situated close to the outside training wickets on the northern side of the arena.


The drop-in wicket contains similar neighborhood mud and grass species as the pitches at the WACA Ground and is firmly checked during its development to duplicate the Ground's quick and fun nature.


Last week, the drop-in wicket was moved by a 30-meter-long, 40-ton cricket wicket carrier onto the arena playing surface. The machine is the only one of its sort in Western Australia.


This will be trailed by five Perth Scorchers BBL13 home matches, with the dominant champions to play their most memorable home match on December 20.


The Pakistan cricket crew will play their most memorable Test match against Australia in Perth from December 14 to 18, trailed by one in Melbourne, from December 26. Sydney will have the last round of the visit from January 3, 2024.

The crew is set to withdraw from Lahore on November 30.


In the mean time, two new faces have been affirmed to join the Pakistani training staff for the impending visit through Australia for the three-match Test series.


Previous Britain all-rounder Adam Hollioake and Australia's Simon Award Helmot will be important for Pakistan's group the executives on the Test visit Down Under, Geo Very detailed.


The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) uncovered the training staff for the away series.


According to PCB, Simon, 51, will act as a superior execution mentor. The Aussie has recently been important for different T20 establishments across the globe and has worked with Bangladesh as their superior execution mentor.


Holliaoke, then again, will act as the batting mentor. He has prior trained the Britain Lions and Hong Kong cricket crews before.
