He expressed these views while addressing the flag-hoisting ceremony held at Quaid-e-Azam Residency Ziarat on the occasion of Quaid Day here on Monday.
The supervising provincial ministers, senior civil and military officials, tribal elders, civil society and children of educational institutions participated in the ceremony. Addressing the ceremony, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki said that the present provincial government is making every possible effort to provide relief to the people by taking Balochistan on the path of peace and development with the support of Pakistan Army and security agencies. A large number of mineral deposits including the well-known and unique Gwadar Port, Sandak and Rekodak are found in mainland Balochistan. Construction of dams and highways and other important projects including Pakistan-China Economic Corridor are being worked on on a priority basis. .
He said that one of the main reasons for the deprivation of Balochistan is insufficient development investment. The current caretaker government has taken positive steps to help the people of Balochistan. The issuance of Balochistan Health Card is a gift for the people here. Similarly, steps are being taken to give full attention to education, health and development works in Balochistan. Thanks to the Economic Corridor, not only Gwadar and Balochistan, but commercial and economic activities in the entire region will reach the peak. The current government has continued to use all resources to achieve the goals of construction and development of Balochistan. All ongoing development schemes are being completed. He said that during the recent months, important decisions have been taken by the federal government in the country's interest, such as the withdrawal of illegally staying foreigners from Pakistan, enforcement of documentation system at all international crossing points, anti-smuggling. Including effective drug enforcement and other measures for economic development, all these decisions are being implemented at the provincial level.
I pay tribute to Pakistan Army, FC Balochistan Customs and Civil Administration for taking effective action against drug dealers and smugglers. He said that effective border management and the implementation of a documentation system will strengthen the grip on terrorists and their facilitators. The withdrawal of illegal foreigners will have a positive impact on the economy of Pakistan, all these decisions of the federal government are being implemented at the provincial level.
He said that we send a message to the anti-peace elements to lay down their arms and surrender themselves to the state. It is clear that even their lakhs of bad tactics will not be able to weaken Pakistan and Balochistan. In between, our brave forces stand stronger than ever like a wall of lead. Terrorists will never succeed in their evil intentions.
