ISLAMABAD: The High Court is set to require up the 12-year-old official reference on returning to the questionable capital punishment granted to previous state leader Zulfikar Ali Bhutto one week from now, The News detailed Friday.
A nine-part bigger seat of the High Court, headed by Boss Equity of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa, will hear the official reference on reexamination of Bhutto's capital punishment judgment on December 12.
The choice to fix the moment case was made under Segment 2(1) of the High Court (Practice and Strategy) Act, 2023, by a three-part council containing CJP Isa, Equity Sardar Tariq Masood and Equity Ijazul Ahsan.
As per High Court Recorder Jazeela Aslam, different individuals from the bigger seat are Equity Masood, Equity Mansoor Ali Shah, Equity Yahya Afridi, Equity Aminud Noise Khan, Equity Jamal Khan Mandokhail, Equity Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Equity Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi, and Equity Musarrat Hilali.
