Even after the massacre of thousands of innocent Palestinians in Gaza, Israel is trying to pressure Qatar to mediate.
Israeli officials say that Qatar hosts and funds Hamas, so they should also press Hamas to release the Israeli hostages.
On the other hand, the heads of the American and Israeli intelligence agencies (CIA and Mossad) will meet with the Qatari Prime Minister in the next few days for the release of the Israeli hostages held by the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas and for a temporary ceasefire.
In this regard, White House spokesman John Kirby told reporters that the head of the CIA is making efforts to return the hostages.
The CIA chief's movements are kept secret for security reasons, but Brett McGrock, the White House's Middle East adviser, traveled to Egypt and Qatar this week to discuss the deal.
On the other hand, an extraordinary meeting of the Arab League has been convened today at the request of the Palestinian Authority. Morocco will chair the meeting at the level of permanent delegates.
It should be remembered that the heads of CIA and Mossad also played an important role in the temporary ceasefire in November and the release of 105 hostages.
Since October 7, the number of martyred Palestinians in Israeli attacks has exceeded 26 thousand 453, while more than 64 thousand 487 people have been injured.
