According to the Arab media, the Palestinian authorities have confirmed that the Israeli army detained two sisters of the martyred leader of Hamas, Saleh al-Aruri.
In a statement released by the Israeli army, it has been said that military personnel have detained two women from the occupied West Bank on Sunday.
The Israeli army accused the detained women of being involved in terrorism against the state.
According to media reports, the brother-in-law of Saleh al-Aroori says that the Israeli authorities have detained two women of the family and other people.
In this regard, the Palestine Prisoner Club has said that the Israeli army arrested two women near Ramallah, including 52-year-old Dalal al-Aroori and 47-year-old Fatima al-Aroori.
The Israeli military has also accused the al-Aroori family of being instrumental in the October 7 attack on Israel that killed more than 1,100 Palestinians.
Israel killed the deputy head of Hamas in a drone strike in Beirut on January 2, which escalated the ongoing fighting between Hamas and Israel.
It should be noted that more than 23,800 Palestinians, including children and women, have been martyred in the fighting since October 7.
