A man has accused Reema Khan, a famous actress in the Pakistani film industry, of fraud.
Recently, a person named Shahid Rafique gave a short interview to a YouTube channel outside the Lahore Press Club. Shahid Rafique claimed that in 2009, he had given Reema 21 million rupees for her film 'Love Me Gum' but he did not get any profit in return.
The man said that he was forced to invest in the actress's film, but he received nothing despite the passage of so many years
Shahid Rafique said that he returned to Lahore from Qatar in 2009 to buy some property in Defense, in which he met Reema Khan's sister Maira Khan, who was a real estate dealer.
According to Shahid Rafique, he told Maira Khan that he wanted to buy a plot, to which he received a response that he should invest in my sister Reema Khan's film, it would be beneficial. Reema's sister said to invest Rs 50.60 lakh for 5 or 6 months and assured that she would get profit from it. A meeting was also arranged for her with Reema Khan, after which she transferred the money for the film, but later Reema's sister started demanding more money.
Shahid Rafiq further said that Reema also invited him to Malaysia where the main cast was present for the shooting of the film. He also stayed in the same hotel for 20 to 25 days. When the film was completed, instead of returning the money, he kept demanding more money and did not pay him.
According to Shahid Rafique, instead of giving him money, Reema made an agreement with him, all the evidence of which he has, and in addition, there is a record of the bank statement, but Reema claimed 200 million in damages from me, saying that I am a fraud. If Reema comes forward, it will be known who cheated her.
He further said that after this, he also went to the civil court and the judge wrote down that it was not Shahid Rafique but Reema Khan who committed a fraud of Rs 21 million.
According to Shahid Rafique, Reema Khan has lost the case in the civil and sessions courts and has taken a stay in the High Court. Reema Khan has been ordered to appear, but she is seeking respite by applying. I am confident that I will win this case
