Islamabad: PML-N leader Senator Irfan Siddiqui has said that despite the passage of 22 days, the PTI has not given its demands in writing, so it is not our fault.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Irfan Siddiqui said that it was promised to submit the demands in writing on December 23, but today it has been 22 days and the demands could not be submitted in writing.
He said that the committee was formed on December 5, but no written demands have been received so far. If they could not put the demands in writing within such a long time, it is not our fault. Two demands were to be given to the Speaker, but they were not given
Senator Irfan Siddiqui said that when the points come before us, there will be consultations with the 7 coalition parties. All parties will then consult with their leadership on the demands. We have to take a collective stand after the demands come to light.
He further said that it cannot be that the letter came one day and the letter was responded to on the same day. These are very heavy demands and we have to consult on them. Time will be needed to consider them seriously.
The league leader said that the sword of January 31 is hanging, we will give them an answer before that.
It should be noted that two meetings of the government and opposition committees established for negotiations have been held, after which the government asked the PTI to submit its demands in writing before the third meeting
