The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan while announcing the establishment of Rehmat-ul-Ulameen Authority on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal had said that through it we will decide the method of teaching Sira-ul-Nabi to children and adults.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, while announcing to oversee the authority himself, had said that the world's best religious scholar would be made chairman who would inform the world about Islam.Imran Khan said that the curriculum of schools would be monitored through this authority.

According to an ordinance issued by the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi, the Rehmat-ul-Ulameen Authority will consist of a chairman and six members. The Advisory Board of the Committee shall meet at least once on a quarterly basis.

According to the official definition, this authority will conduct research on Sira-un-Nabi and Ahadith to build the character of the youth. In addition, the authority will consult with relevant experts to make the biography of the Prophet a part of the curriculum and will be tasked with explaining Islam to the world.

Reaction on social media

Some users on social media think that Dr. Ijaz Akram is a capable person, while others say that he is merely the 'English version of Zaid Hamid' because of his views and opinions.

Some users tried to draw attention to their views by sharing old clips and articles.

In one of these clips, he can be seen calling various Pakistani nationalist movements 'funded'. Speaking at a function, he said, "Pakistan's enemies think that they will continue to tear Pakistan apart little by little until nothing is left."
