ISLAMABAD: A day after the Political race Commission of Pakistan (ECP) raised worries over the non-arrangement of assets, the Money Division delivered Rs17.4 billion to the discretionary body for survey plans.
In a proclamation on Tuesday, the Money Division said it has delivered Rs17.4 billion to the ECP notwithstanding Rs10. billion delivered in July 2023.
"This carries the complete delivered sum to Rs27.4 billion for holding general races. Finance Division stays focused on the arrangement of assets as and when expected by the Political decision Commission of Pakistan," it added.
On Monday, Money Secretary Imdad Ullah Bosal guaranteed the constituent guard dog that assets for impending general races will be delivered in a little while.
Bosal was brought by the commission after the Money Service was unmoved with respect to the arrangement of assets, designated for the surveys, in the financial plan.
Tending to the ECP's interests, guardian Data Clergyman Murtaza Solangi had said there is no emergency in gathering the monetary necessities of the political race commission.
In a post via web-based entertainment stage X, he said the bureau has supported Rs42 billion for the monetary requirements of the ECP and remarkably, Rs10 billion have proactively been dispensed.
The priest expressed out loud anything that planned sum is required by the ECP, it would be delivered according to its necessities appropriately.
Solangi reaffirmed that the public authority stands solidly behind the ECP in holding free and fair races.
General decisions 2024
Pakistan is currently moving toward decisions with surveys planned to be hung on February 8 2024.
