Pakistan has announced its Test squad against West Indies.

The Pakistan Cricket Board on Saturday announced a 15-member squad for the two Test matches of the ICC World Test Championship against the West Indies, which will be played in Multan from January 17 to 21 and January 25 to 29.

Seven changes have been made to the 15-member Test squad that toured South Africa.

Shan Masood (captain), Saud Shakeel (vice-captain), Babar Azam, Kamran Ghulam, Khurram Shahzad, Muhammad Rizwan, Noman Ali and Salman Ali Agha have been retained.

In addition, leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed has been recalled to strengthen the spin department, along with off-spinner Sajid Khan and left-arm spinner Noman Ali. Openers Imam-ul-Haq and Muhammad Hurairah have been brought back into the squad in place of the injured Saim Ayub and out-of-form Abdullah Shafiq.

Aamir Jamal, Mohammad Abbas, Mir Hamza and Naseem Shah have been rested and in their place the selectors have retained Khurram Shahzad while bringing back Mohammad Ali and the uncapped Kashif Ali.

Former Pakistan Under-19 captain and Shaheens captain Rohail Nazir has been included in the squad in the absence of wicketkeeper-batsman Haseebullah.
