The accused who attacked Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has been arrested by the Mumbai Police and the investigation has made progress.
On the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, around 3 am, a robbery attempt was made at Saif's Bandra house in Mumbai, which the actor resisted and foiled.
During the resistance, Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife, causing him to suffer 6 wounds, 2 of which were quite deep, while one wound was closest to the spine.
Saif is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital and a 2.5-inch piece of the knife was removed from his spine after undergoing surgery yesterday.
Mumbai Police has arrested the alleged accused who attacked Saif and this has brought important revelations in the investigation.
Indian media has reported from sources that the alleged attacker had also raided Shah Rukh Khan's house in Mumbai on January 14 before attacking Saif, but he was unable to enter the house due to tight security.
According to Indian media, the attacker targeted Saif Ali Khan after failing to enter Shah Rukh Khan's house and raided his Bandra residence.
Reports have said that the attacker evaded security and entered the building and even reached the 12th floor where the actor was staying with Saif's family.
On the other hand, Saif Ali Khan is undergoing treatment at a local hospital in Mumbai and his condition is gradually improving. Doctors have advised him to take complete rest and he is being taken care of.
