PTI requests National Assembly Speaker to convene meeting of negotiation committees

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has requested National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to convene a meeting of the negotiation committees.

According to sources in the Speaker's Office, PTI has requested National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq to convene the third meeting of the negotiation committees.

Sources say that at the request of PTI, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has assured to convene a meeting of the government and PTI negotiation committees soon.

Sources say that Speaker Ayaz Sadiq will also consult with the government and the opposition on this issue today. 

It should be noted that two rounds of talks have been held between the government and the opposition, while a third meeting is expected in the next few days, in which the PTI is likely to submit written demands to the government
