Doha: Qatar sent the final draft of the Gaza ceasefire agreement to Hamas and Israel after a breakthrough in negotiations.
According to a foreign news agency, positive progress was made late last night in the ongoing negotiations in the Qatari capital Doha for a Gaza ceasefire and the release of Israeli hostages, after which Qatar handed over the final draft of the agreement to Israeli authorities and Hamas.
The talks in Doha were attended by representatives of the current US government, including the Prime Minister of Qatar, the heads of the Israeli intelligence agencies Mossad and Shin Bet, and an envoy from newly elected US President Donald Trump.
On the other hand, Israeli officials, in a statement issued in response to the news agency's report, denied receiving a final draft of the ceasefire agreement.
Israeli officials said they have not yet received the draft, but the outline of the agreement is clear and if Hamas responds quickly, the rest will be finalized soon.
In this regard, the Israeli Foreign Minister said in his latest statement that progress has been made in the ceasefire talks, which is better than before, and I hope we will see some things happen soon
