Washington: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with US President Donald Trump at the White House yesterday, during which he presented Trump with two pager devices.

According to Israeli media, Netanyahu gifted Donald Trump a gold pager and a regular pager, which was a reference to the pager bombings against Hezbollah in Lebanon last year.

According to Israeli Channel 12, the US president, reacting to the gift, praised the pager blasts and said, "That was an excellent operation."

In return, Trump presented Netanyahu with a photo of their visit, featuring Trump and Netanyahu, with the caption "For a Great Leader Bibi (Netanyahu)."

It should be noted that on September 17, 2024, hundreds of pagers exploded in Lebanon, killing 12 people and injuring thousands.
