PCB shifts 3-nation cricket series to Karachi and Lahore

  January 08, 2025

Lahore: The PCB has shifted the tri-nation ODI series from Multan to Lahore and Karachi.

New Zealand and South Africa will join Pakistan in the 3-nation series. The series was originally scheduled to be held in Multan, but has now been shifted to Karachi and Lahore.

According to a PCB statement, this decision reflects the board's confidence in the readiness of these upgraded venues, providing a world-class experience for players, officials and fans.

Upgrading at Gaddafi Stadium

On the other hand, preparations for the Champions Trophy are also underway in full swing, for which the capacity of Gaddafi Stadium has been increased to 35,000 spectators and new chairs have been installed throughout the stadium.

To improve broadcast quality, 480 modern LED lights have been installed in the stadium, which will provide excellent viewing quality for fans.

Two large digital replay screens will be installed next week to further enhance the spectator experience
