Peshawar: PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai has warned that the third round of talks between the government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) may be the last.
Speaking to Geo News, Shaukat Yousafzai said that he was saddened to see Sher Afzal Marwat and Salman Akram Raja fighting on the media, and that the senior party leadership should establish discipline within the party.
Regarding negotiations with the government, Shaukat Yousafzai said that the third round of negotiations between the government and the PTI may be the last because the government is not serious.
He said that the government is now going on the back foot. The founder of PTI has already said that the government does not have the authority. If it does have the authority, then why is the negotiation committee not meeting with the founder of PTI?
He further said that it was good that the PTI unmasked the government by holding talks. The government seems to be afraid of talks. The establishment should now understand that the PML-N and the PPP are a burden on the country.
Shaukat Yousafzai said that they are talking about Udan Pakistan, but where is the money? A loan of 27 thousand billion rupees was taken in two years. Will Udan Pakistan run on loans? The federal government should tell where the 27 thousand billion rupees were spent. It should account to the nation. The people could not get even a single rupee of relief.
The PTI leader said that false claims of development are being made in Punjab, and distributing laptops does not win the hearts of the people
